Fish Oil vs. Krill Oil
Both fish oil and krill oil are sources of omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for healthy brain function and mood regulation.
Krill oil is another option for those who prefer not to ingest fish products for ethical or other reasons.
However, Huberman has said his experience with krill oil wasn’t positive, as it caused some skin issues.

Andrew Huberman Fish Oil Recommendation
On the podcast More Plates More Dates, Huberman outlines his personal omega 3 and fish oil supplementation routine.
Huberman starts his day with a dosage of Thorne Super EPA Pro.
During breakfast or later in the day, Huberman will then take a tablespoon of Carlsen Liquid Fish Oil.
He has mentioned adding the liquid fish oil to his morning oatmeal.
Huberman has noted on the podcast that:
“You want to go with a brand that emphasizes that they’ve gone to really good sources and that they decontaminate regardless”.

Huberman Omega-3 Dosage
Huberman personally aims for 2 grams per day of EPA from supplementation.
However, the dosage can vary depending on individual needs.
Dr. Sara Gottfried, for instance, mentioned that some of her patients only need 1 gram, while others may need up to 6 grams.
Fish Oil Alternatives
